Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Simmons University. My research and teaching interests are located within American politics, with particular specializations in public policy, race and politics, state and local politics, political inequality, political behavior, and qualitative methods.
My research has been published in State Politics and Policy Quarterly, Social Science History, Journal of Health Politics, Policy, and Law, and Analyses of Social Issues and Public Policy.
Prior to Simmons College, I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota and my B.A. in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago.
